4. Eligibility and Registration
General Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old

Prohibited Users

6. Notary Services
Service Facilitation
ACTUM acts as an intermediary platform connecting clients with independent notaries. We do not:

- Warrant the qualifications of individual notaries beyond basic verification
Notary Responsibilities
Notaries using our platform must:
- Maintain valid licensing and comply with all applicable laws
- Perform notarizations in accordance with their jurisdiction's requirements
- Maintain professional standards and ethical conduct
- Keep accurate records and journals as required by law
Client Responsibilities
Clients must:
- Provide accurate identification and information
- Ensure documents are complete and ready for notarization
- Appear personally before the notary (or via approved remote method)
- Pay applicable fees as agreed
Session Recording and Compliance
For legal compliance and quality assurance:
- Video and audio recordings may be made of notarization sessions
- Recordings are securely stored and access is limited
- Recordings may be used for audit, compliance, and dispute resolution
- By using our Service, you consent to such recordings
7. Payment Terms
Fees and Pricing
- Service fees are clearly displayed before booking
- Prices may vary based on document type, complexity, and service level
- Additional fees may apply for premium services or expedited processing
- We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice
Payment Processing
- All payments are processed securely through third-party providers
- We do not store your full payment card information

- Failed payments may result in service suspension
Refunds and Cancellations

Users must:
- Use the Service for lawful purposes only
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Respect the rights and privacy of others
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Use false or misleading identity information
- Attempt to circumvent security measures

- Interfere with platform operations
- Harvest or collect user information
- Engage in fraudulent activities

Enforcement

User Content
Regarding documents and content you upload:
- You retain ownership of your documents and personal information
- You grant us a limited license to process and store your content for service provision

- You warrant that you have the right to upload and process your documents
